Summer full of learning and creativity

Summer is about having fun and letting your child’s imagination soar to new heights. Our Summer Robotics Labs check all of those boxes and more. They are a great way for girls and boys to dabble in robotics, programming, and design for the first time, or build on skills they have already developed. Wizbots uniquely combines LEGO® robotics and Java programming with a vast array of projects and materials to engage campers in product design, tech challenges, team games, and open-ended creativity by challenging them to use their imagination and problem-solve in all new ways. By following our one-of-a-kind Path to Mastery, campers participate in a project-based, gamified experience that tracks their progress and awards them each time they advance to the next level. Follow along with your campers by watching their project videos that are uploaded privately to our Wonderwall webpage where you can share their accomplishments with family and friends. Campers also work in pairs to complete their projects which promotes collaboration and teamwork while making new friends. Week to week, campers are always doing something new and having fun while doing it!

Why Wizbots?
Wizbots embarks kids on a lifelong path for success by sparking their interest in design, building, and coding early on. Compared to other LEGO® robotics programs, our campers have the benefit of learning Java which is the most universally accepted coding language available. Wizbots kids build a foundation that often allows them to excel beyond their peers in their future course loads.

How is Summer Camp different from After School Labs?
Summer camps allow students to further immerse themselves by giving them more of what they love. More time, more space, more projects, more materials, and more kids to hang with. That’s what summer is all about!

Who may attend?
All girls and boys ages 8-14 who will be entering grades 3-8 in the Fall are welcome to join us!

How are campers grouped together?

Who leads the camps?
Our instructors, or “Inventor Mentors” as we like to call them, come from various walks of life. All have experience teaching children and are fingerprinted and background checked. Each camp is led by one of our experienced Inventor Mentors who leads our year-round after school Robotics Labs. They also have at least two assistants, so campers are sure to get the help and supervision they need. Our maximum camper to staff ratio is 8:1.
